The Good and the Bad of Seagate STBV2000200

This review is from: Seagate Expansion STBV2000200 - External Hard Drive 2TB

The hard drive does what it says, no problems, speed 7200, the housing is not anything to write about, something bulky (normal for a 3.5), USB 3.0, Elegant design and as said before, no switch , which you are forced to remove and replace the power cord to turn on / off.
Contrary to what he says in an opinion out there HOUSING MAY OPEN FULLY without breaking (you attest) introducing such card credit or similar for the binding together of the housing (there is a video on YouTube) and also can perfectly use the housing with another disc after ... Really good performance at a good price, especially considering the unexplained factor come out cheaper to buy an external hard drive (with its case and usb 3.0 cable and transformer) that includes only one internal disk ...
5.0 out of 5 stars Disc 2 tb affordable when you have it at this price ,
Good buy, no power button, when connected to USB the system detects it and launches the source, ie not wearing the typical power button does it alone.
Otherwise quiet and comfortable to use.
When 75 € good buy, but this product has a quite striking price swings even ask me who obey, I've come to see vary between 75 € and 105 days apart, now that I issue the assessment again in 75 .
Moreover his sent was suspended by product crashes or something stated but at least in my case product arrived perfect and as described.

Seagate expansion reviews from my slideshare

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect. ,
Formatted for Mac and used with Time Machine.
For very little money you have 3TB of storage.
In my opinion, ideal for backups.
5.0 out of 5 stars Maximum capacity at a good price ,
No less than 4 Tb. If you need a large capacity drive, this is what you're looking for and with incredible rapidity.
I plug it in, turn it on and go.
i would recommend it 100%

5.0 out of 5 stars It was the best size / price disc. , September 26, 2013
In the lowest bid was nearly a month ago, now the product is in "review process" when it has been costing 86.90 to 71.95. A couple of out of the box for use internally in the pc and work perfectly.
Hassle in operation, correct speeds by 3.0, compact size without button on / off (for me it is no problem), low noise and does not heat long, connects to your computer and ready.
regarding recommend buying again be on offer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good nice and good price ,
The Seagate STBV2000200 is fine, large capacity, high speed and turns itself off when you turn off the computer, tv etc. etc. I thought that having no button on / off would be a problem, but not always ... I have it plugged into the current and not running until it connects to any device ... This very well!

4.0 out of a maximum of 5 stars Good, nice, cheap ,
He has not given me any problems. Good data transfer, bit noisy but if something does. It was a bit hot, but keep in mind that it is always connected to the pc. Would recommend. Seagate is always trusted brand.

5.0 out of 5 stars THE BEST, NO DOUBT. ,
Excellent in all aspects. Very fast, very reliable, extremely comfortable system of "instant" connection and also the plastic housing just is not heated, not heavy and is resistant to normal pat onto. It is the third I buy and still better in every way than any of the Iomega that I have, to cite one example.

If you plan to use an external drive to connect to your TV or Home-cinema, this is the perfect choice, as over 2TB not recognized by the apparatus of normal consumer electronics.

4.0 out of a maximum of 5 stars Cheap, high capacity and good
I have not found anything for 2TB or less the same price, so I opted for this and I'm glad the election, because it fulfills perfectly. The fact of losing a star is something we already knew from other reviews, no power switch, so you have to solve it or power strip with switch or removing the cable.

4.0 out of a maximum of 5 stars The best external hard drive price / quality ratio ,

• It works perfectly.
• unbeatable price.
• using USB 2.0 interface perfectly reaches 20 MB / s write speed.
• was not heated and is just silent
